We are always looking for the next great project to fund – tell us about your idea!

Our grant program awards qualifying projects advancing our Fund’s mission. Funding is generally not available for current operating expenses or for aiding individual community members. Proposals are accepted at any time. To apply for a grant, send a proposal letter to PO Box 33, St. Johns, MI 48879 or to Proposals will be reviewed within 60 days of receipt.

The granting and local fund decision making is done by our Board of Directors.

Grant Proposal Letter – Please include the following information in your letter:

·        Group/Individual Requesting Funds

·        Purpose of Grant(one sentence only)

·        Amount Requested

·        Total Project Cost

·        Project Beginning and Ending Date

·        Project Proposal:
Summarize the project: describe who will benefit, the project’s goals, describe how the project will meet the goals, why you believe this to be a good approach and how you think the project fits the St. Johns Area Community Fund’s mission.

·        Project Outcomes and Sustainability:
Describe how you will define success for your project. Describe your plan for how the project will continue after the start-up.
